Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Manager

EVCS is one of the largest and fastest growing EV fast charging networks on the West Coast with 615 chargers across CA, OR and WA and rapid expansion plans to reach 1,500 by 2023. We are a mission-based collection of entrepreneurs, product strategists and technologists with a unifying vision to decarbonize consumer vehicle transportation by making public fast charging easily accessible, consistently reliable and cost effective. We are backed by leading clean tech institutional investors and recently closed a $68.8MM funding round enabling us to accelerate our network build out plan and fill key roles on our leadership team. Business Manager, Partnerships & Policy
As a Growth Manager, Partnerships & Policy, you will have the opportunity to lead and support a wide range of projects and initiatives that contribute to the growth of EVCS customer base and to the expansion of our public charging network. You will provide meaningful contributions to the company’s efforts on: strategic partnerships with private and public entities, policy and regulation, customer products and solutions, and strategic business intelligence and analytics. Reporting to the Vice President of Partnerships, you will have an enormous opportunity to experience various aspects of the EV charging business, and you will work directly with the leadership team and with EVCS external stakeholders. In true startup fashion, this generalist role requires a versatile skillset that combines deep understanding of the e-mobility and energy industry, strong business acumen, effective communication skills, and solid quantitative and analytical skills. Background in management consulting is highly desirable. Over time, you will have a lot of freedom and will be empowered and mentored to further focus your career in a specific area of interest within the organization. This position may be remote or hybrid based in our Los Angeles office.
Grant Writer
The rapid growth of EVCS in in California, Washington and Oregon has been fueled primarily by EV charging incentives, infrastructure credits and grants. The Grant Writer will help build on our early success by tracking opportunities and securing funding from multiple local, regional, state and federal sources including, first-come, first-funded bids, competitive grant solicitations, tax incentives and tax credits. The grant writer will create and maintain a pipeline of upcoming funding opportunities and, with input from management, prioritize the opportunities that are best suited to EVCS’ business model. This individual will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop strategic partnerships, find sources of matching funds and gather all the information necessary information for responding to RFPs, Bids and other funding opportunities. The grant writer will be responsible for preparing and submitting attractive, well written and fiscally sound proposals on behalf of EVCS.
