EV Technicians – Ongoing Opportunities
Salary Range: Final compensation determined by experience, skills, and location, starting $78,000
EVCS (EV Charging Solutions) is hiring hands-on technicians who like being in the field, solving real problems, and making an impact. You’ll be on the move traveling to troubleshoot EV chargers, perform routine repairs, assist with installs, and work with contractors and internal teams to keep our network running smoothly. No college degree required—just a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn on the job. We provide training.
What You'll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot and repair charging stations
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment checks
- Conduct site evaluations for new installations
- Replace hardware, run diagnostics, and log field activity
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams for service dispatch
- Review and approve vendor quotes for field work
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and company standards
- Monitor inventory and manage material logistics
- Keep accurate records and service documentation
What You Bring
- 3 years of experience in technical, mechanical, or electrical work (EVSE familiarity a plus, not required)
- Working knowledge of safety protocols like OSHA, NFPA 70E, Arc Flash, or willingness to train
- Strong troubleshooting skills and reliability in the field
- Good communication and time management
- Comfortable using basic software like Microsoft Office; Salesforce and Zendesk are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
- High school diploma or GED required
- Electrical certification is preferred but not required in accordance
